The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday recorded a statement from former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen for over three hours, sources said.
A senior official attached to the CID said the former minister provided a statement on the arrest of his brother, along with a vehicle that belonged to the ministry Mr. Rishad was posted to, the day following the dastardly Easter Sunday attacks.
