At least 100 people from Gunasinghapura, Grandpass and Dam Street in Colombo, who were suspected to have contacts with a COVID-19 patient, were sent to Sampur quarantine centre by the Navy.
Navy Spokesman Isuru Sooriyabandara said the naval personnel carried out an operation to identify those individuals for having contacts with a COVID-19 patient from Suduwella in Ja-Ela.
