STRIKERS PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK PUBLIC AREAS CAUSING INCONVENIENCE TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BETTER THINGS TO ATTEND TO. THE GOVT SHOULD GET TOUGH AND STOP ALL THESE NONSENSE

It is not a wise idea to ignore these matters. There are anomalies in the way this government has performed and there is a need to respond. People resort to strikes and protests for a reason. Their type of shoe (after all, that is why they work) is not important. I am not saying "give in". The P.M gave in to the doctors (who are really millionaires), and other strong unions like the private bus operators. But why be adamant about duty on electric cars and the "smoke" tests?
