Parliamentary business was relegated to rowdy levels today during the budget speech of President Mahinda Rajapaksa with some unruly government MPs trying to manhandle and rough up UNP members who held aloft placards critical of the 2012 budget. Pix By Kushan Pathiraja

    What's the UNP has done is very wrong! Budget is the corner stone of our economy. It was delivered by the President himself in the parliament. Budget speech is not a forum for protest. You have to listen first what the President has to say before protest. After doing a wrong thing in first place, now accuse other people beat you!

    this kind of incidents & other unjustice activites will not be stop untill rise opposition party strongly. don't look for justice from dog low.our nation don't have analyse skills they just belive as what they see from the media. thats's why this nation day by day go to the hell. Otherwise if we had strong media sources,it will be helpfull to nation come out from this weekness

    I sit on the beach in RIO DE JENIRO, and am not amazed to see why PHD's and DOCTORATES are awarded to our socalled LAWMAKERS. IDONT THINK you could call this ROWDY, its just GROSS! AND WE DONT HV ELECTIONS DURING 2012 to take care of the persons in your pictures.
