Dear Brothers/Sisters,

Education in SL is good as in UK and you will enjoy your life in SL universities. I have enjoyed my life in SL at Uni and then I moved to UK after gaining work exp.

Life in the UK is much more difficult than you think. Studying in UK uni won't gurantee you a job. Most of the students give up studies after coming.

It is important you find information from someone you know in UK before making the decision to move.

It is better to go to Australia or even Singapore. UK has no any training opportunity. Once they complete they will sent back.

Please be cautious on taking decisions in UK Education. Uni fees £9000 plus living and accommodation expenses. There wouldn't be any jobs to earn any money to cover expenses. So do be careful when deciding. The economy is bad and survival is difficult. Jobs are so scarece. Look around in other countries as well. Its not worth having to suffer the pain at the end.

I find this difficult to understand. British Council organises fairs to attract students. The UK Govt is trying it best to reduce international students. British Council is a part of the British Government.

Yes I agree with all of the above,and please be aware racism is rife in UK. Only recently a young Indian boy was gunned down in Manchester ONLY because he was brown skinned .

If you have an opportunity please do come to the UK for the experiance you will gain.

You can travel and experiance Europe. You will also mature as a person, which living in SL with your parents takes a bit longer.

I agree with Duminda that life is a challenge in the UK but is it not in SL??? However, never forget your roots and always be a Sri Lankan

NO, UK has helped SL students for long, long time, and they
have been very helpfull. BUT SL students started to misuse
this for wrong activities. To all SL people , I must say , UK once rule almost 2\3 of the world, and they are smarter than us.
