Agreed but cant help it, we must be proud of Visakha. Unfortunately we dont build more colleges in the calibre of Vishakha.
    Great achievment Udeshika and Visakha.

    rex Wednesday, 28 March 2012 01:34 PM

Udeshika et al , congrats! When you get to the top uni here and receive free education and if you choose to abandon your motherland by leaving like many bright ones have done, then all your gains are diluted! Hope you remain and serve this nation with your very bright mind - we need people like you HERE.

    Maheswaran Wednesday, 28 March 2012 02:03 PM

Your hard has made not you, your parents proud as well!
Keep up the good work and hope you could do the same with A/Ls!

    sena Wednesday, 28 March 2012 02:11 PM

congratulations. However I am wondering all our hard work on education has not resulted in tangible contribution to the economy which is shouldered by blue collar workers and not by highly educated professionals

    Ravin Wednesday, 28 March 2012 02:11 PM

Congratulations Udeshika-It is pleasing to note your success and wish and hope you will fulfill whatever your aspirations in achieving greatest heights with the blessings of the triple gem and your elders.Special comment to the school for keeping these high standards throughout decades for all the principles, teachers and the parents that has kept the school in the limelight.

Cyril Alwis Wednesday, 28 March 2012 02:31 PM

It is a matter of memorizing the text books. If you write the same versions you are sure to pass the exams. When I was in the school in Sri Lanka, I had to do the same. When I came Europe for further studies, I found the mistakes of our education system. I was again a beginer and had to learn from the start.

First of all congrats to Udeshika. This is a morale boost for the A/L.

But some though have average O'L result ( May be 1 A OR or No A's at all ) they performed well in A/L and may be passed with 3 A's. So my message is student who have average result can obtain good results if you focus on your A/L subjects and work smart. Don't forget to spend some time to play... surely you will succeed.

    Saskia Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:19 PM

Very good. Congrats! Keep it up.

    buffa52 Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:20 PM

Well done Udeshika, now Vishaka we like to see more than one student producing results of this nature in both examination certificates.

    bernard Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:35 PM

First ask yourself a question. Why the best qualified and bright people are leaving the country?

Sirimal Dunuwila Wednesday, 28 March 2012 11:29 AM

May the Blessings of the Tripple Gem be with you Duwe. Well done. Keep up the good work. Youngsters like you are the future of Sri Lanka.
