    Jeyasankar Wednesday, 03 October 2012 08:20 AM

Its great! Its a symbol of progress in the current trade union action of the FUTA and the future of trade union tradition in a corporate world.

    Saranga Wednesday, 03 October 2012 08:20 AM

This is funny, so called union looks like another JVP union, these guys have taken the system to ransom, they should be kicked out just like those ISUF thugs!

the morons who keep saying that FUTA is receiving foreign funds should simply prove it. Government has all the intelligence services at its disposal. Proving such allegations will be the easiest way to crush FUTA action.

Veteran Bala Tampoe, perhaps the only independent Leftist Trade Union Leader in Sri Lanka who is not controlled by the
sitting government despite his old age.

    Padma Wednesday, 03 October 2012 09:19 AM

You are truly very very great leader ….. You never bow in front of the power .always represent on behalf of innocent party even during north east war time

    Ashwin Wednesday, 03 October 2012 09:27 AM

Unfortunately, the "University Dons" here look more like street mafia dons! They are no role-models to students in dress, appearance, mannerism, speech or conduct. They are incapable of guiding and lobbying in their favor in a decent and respectable manner. University/education system will continue to churn out substandard products (other than a handful of exceptions) who in turn will become tomorrow's teachers, lecturers, dons, politicians, activists and the lot. What a vicious cycle!

The dress is crated by people and you can not measure a person by the cloths he wares. Steve Jobs wore a Turtlenecks, blue jeans and jogging shoes for his presentations. It was a trade mark. He never changed the style of cloths although he was one of the greatest visionary in the world and the richest man.

Hatts off to Comrade Bala !
