The 55th death anniversary of former Prime Minister S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike was held at the Bandaranaike Samadhi in Horagolla this morning. Prime Minister D.M. Jayaratne, Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka and several UNP MPs including Karu Jayasuriya, Mangala Samaraweera and Ravi Karunanayake participated at the commemoration ceremony.
