    Sighting the hallowed Sri Pada Mountan range from Colombo is rear. but i have often vied the Peak while travelling over the Kaluthara
    bridge at the Sri Maha Bodhi Kaluthara.

    I have seen Sri Pada from Dehiwala (Hill street) way back in the eighties in the mornings when the skies are clear.

    We saw it too from the Panadura bridge, one early morn couple years ago. It is a common sight when there is no mist in the Peak area.
