Freedom from this present set up is what Independence should be all about. We'd have been better off under the British yoke! I would rather buy a coconut for a tasty pol sambol than spend money on a flag that has no real meaning with the whole country held to ransom!!!

True Independence is "where the mind is without fear and the head is held high".

If some one like to waving a flag its also freedom act for that person. We cant get rid of that freedom. Its their desire.
But we all need to keep in mind we have to respect our national flag.

However lets forget the negative side and think of the positive side and celebrate the independence day of the country and then apply pressure to the State to deliver what people want.
