"Nidahase Pahan Veta" a memorial event to remember all those who sacrificed lives and celebrate the victory over terrorism was held at the Viharamahadevi Park, last evening with the participation of a large gathering including former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Whatever the accusation made against MR, he should be given due place for eradicating terrorism in this country.He still has a large section of public support.

Upali,I agree . MR may be a rogue as projected by Mangala. But he did the impossible. That is why the masses rally round him .He should be given credit for that. If it was RW, elam would have been established by now. RW ruling one part of the island and Prabha the other part.
