Reason is evident in the second the picture. A half cut tree. Few years back I can remember several trees felled around that area . Don't know why our politicians can't understand the value of the nature. In the name of development we shouldn't destroy the environment.

If we ignore nature and think only about "Concrete" development Nuwara-Eliya will be like Kandy one day. Govt should impose strict restrictions to save our beautiful cities.
