Why do not you protest against private hospital and private practise? Private university and foreign university graduate love to medical profession and they are not go behind money like you. Goverment should approve private universities with more than 3 faculties and Higher education ministry should establish institution for quality assurance of private universities. It should monitor quality assurance of the programme, lectuerers qualifications, student admission.

PMC's must be allowed on providing proof that they have complied with the necessities to provide higher education in the areas they seek approval. In the Malabe issue they are yet to satisfy that they have all the requirements to provide medical education. SLMC must lay the guidelines and if Malabe satisfy the guidelines they permission must be granted for them to function.

Higher education is fundamental human right whether it is through public or private. Authorities have to establish rules and regulations of quality assurance, lecturers qualifications, qualification of student intake ect. There are private universities operate all over the world including most south asian countries. This action looks like pure jelous. Some of students in Colombo, Kandy, Gall and Matara miss the universities just one or two marks. At same time, some students get admission with low marks (Z score). Thoese miss the state universities have right for higher education.
