State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardene today inaugurated the first day of the historic Tantirimale Raja Maha Viharaya's Aloka Pooja programme held for the twelfth consecutive year sponsored by Wijeya Newspapers Limited (WNL). Minister P. Harison was also present at the event. The illumination of the Aloka Pooja will also take place tomorrow to coincide with Poson Full Moon Poya Day. Pix by Shantha Ratnayake
