Horticulture programme in Kebithigollewa

Sri Lankan Civil Defence Force (CDF) Para Military Unit engaged in a Horticulture programme in the North-Central region of Kebithigollewa today.  It was established to assist security forces during the height of the government's war against Tamil rebels. It is now being deployed, among other things, for farming after the end of the decades-old separatist war in May 2009. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana
