    can anyone please explain me how did Namal Rajapaksha become the "Chairman of the Hambantota District Development Committee (DDC)"...
    He's a chairman of this.. chairman of that... what on earth are his qualifications to hold such posts???

    District chair was given to all those who topped preferential vote lists in each district. Namal topped Hambantota, Basil topped Gampaha.
