Video: Compensations given for deceased Lankan migrant works

Minister External Affairs Mangala Samaraweera presents a cheque as compensation to a family member of a deceased Sri Lankan migrant worker. Thirty three families of Sri Lankan migrant workers in the Middle East and Malaysia were given compensation at the function. A sum of Rs. 50 million was allocated for this purpose.     This is a rare event and a good cause, this should be done by the government, these migrant workers bring foreign revenue to the country, they should be cared.....
