Calling for Fonseka’s release

The JVP staged a protest in front of the Welikada Prison today urging the government to release Former Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka. The protest which marks one year since Fonseka was imprisoned was attended by Mrs. Anoma Fonseka, JVP Leader Somawansa Amarasinghe and other opposition MP’s.
