Dear Rosy, I admire your action.Only thing to do bring those who perpitrated these crimes to justice, and found guilty in a court of law, put a bullett into their head and finish it off.

Dear Peeda Mossa
You have focused on something so trivial when there is a bigger issue to be dealt with. This is no time for distraction from ensuring the vulnerable are not put at risk anymore.
When our mothers, sisters, daughters take to the streets to create awareness of child abuse, rape (and I wish to include misbehaviour such as eve-teasing) all fathers, brothers, sons should support it without race, religion, class, political affiliations, language biases etc being made distractions to the cause.
I would like all female parliamentarions to join together to stamp out these curses. This is not a class battle; it is one of the most important humantarian battles we have to fight now.
I would consider anyone who throws a spanner in to this, be it by word or by deed as a child molester, rapist or at the least someone who is waiting to do so. So let us not distract ourselves with trivial issues.

High time! Already many lives had been shattered for good. These campaigns will certainly create much needed awareness to come forward against the perpetrators of such violent crimes. Go girls!!

Indini Friday, 20 July 2012 08:55 PM
Jayantha, Ref. your comments Do not try to highlight about politicians who brought this to the stage. But think of the crisis happens in Sri Lanka which will may happens to your love ones some time 'cos the abuse and rapes becoming worst now in this country. The worst and most incidents made by the corrupted and wicked politicians. So as a representation let a woman politician comes to the platform and highlights these issue which has to be condemned with the common people on behalf of the society. You are also having a mother, daughter, sister, partner and close relatives/friends. Think of them dearly and support every one without looking at their colour, race, position and status etc.,
