Everyone, including the politicians and the others officers, must help practically implement laws to protect environment, President Maithripala Sirisena said.
He expressed these views during the World Environment Day celebrations held at the BMICH today.
The ceremony was conducted in accordance with World Environment Day which was celebrated on June 5, under the theme “reducing air pollution through Sustainable management.”

It would be nice ,just to be able to get rid of plastic bottles and metal cans easily in Sri Lanka .maybe one day there will joined up refuse collection ,with recycling centres where you can take your sorted rubbish
