US Naval Ship “USS Somerset” arrives in Trincomalee

The US Naval Ship, “USS Somerset” arrived at the Trincomalee port on a training visit yesterday.
During the four-day official visit, the crew of “USS Somerset” is scheduled to take part in an array of programmes organized by the Sri Lanka Navy.
Accordingly, the ship’s crew will also visit places with historic attraction in Naval Dockyard, Trincomalee.
“USS Somerset” is expected to leave on November 26, having conducted several naval exercises with the Sri Lanka Navy.(Pix by Navy Media)
