President donates Rs.1mn to innovative student

President Maithripala Sirisena made a financial donation of Rs. one million to student Gihan Hettiarachchi of Gampaha Bandaranaike College, who made a rocket that can travel upto 20 km, for his future innovation works, at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday.

The President also summoned the technical officers of the Sri Lanka Air Force and instructed them to provide necessary assistance to the student to launch the rocket.(Pix by President’s Media)

    I will donate ten fold to this student innovator if his rocket can carry 225 meeharakka's from Diyawanna Oya that we need to get rid of quickly.
