An event was held at the BMICH in Colombo today to commemorate Minister of Finance, Mangala Samaraweera marking 30 years in politics. The event was attended by President Maithripala Sirisena and many other distinguished guests. Minister Samaraweera is seen discussing a point with Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa while President Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, former president Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and US human rights advocate Samantha Power look on.
