    My heart breaks when I see the sufferings of the sick with dengue .I would not use the word flooded may be in connection with the sick for want of a better word .Some some people and the hard floor to sleep on ..and no privacy either sharing beds ..when we speak of our country emerging as middle income country ..health facilities of patient comfort should be a priority ..or care at home by home visits by medical staff may be .these pictures give a dismal message to the world .

    If you think this is bad, visit Peradeniya and Kandy hospitals. Patients sitting on chairs if they can find one. Mainly Med students attending. Very few Doctors to be seen. Nurses are overwhelmed. It's a national disgrace.

    It is a sign of a Developed country to have more dengu patients and more death due to dengu (Minister is talking bull-shit about percentage of death due to dengu,reveal the number of death due to the fever )

    Very sad situation what is the government doing about this? Garbage problem is still not sorted properly.so many deaths because of dengi but no action taken.very pathetic situation. its high time the government officials take some responsibilities before things get worst.
