Colombo Mayor receives Honorary Seoul Citizenship

Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake was named as an honorary citizen of Seoul, at Seoul City Hall in South Korea on December 12. According to Korea Times, the Seoul city government has granted honorary citizenship to foreign guests or non-Koreans who have contributed to the city's affairs since 1958. It also said Colombo and Seoul have expanded policy exchanges since the two cities signed a friendship and cooperation agreement in 2016.
