Former MP and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) candidate Mujibur Rahaman arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to lodge a complaint against Former Minister Wimal Weerawansa whom he accused of printing stamps with his picture and using them for mail. I recall in the past there was some provision for stamps to be printed with your face for a particular denomination for a premium price. I wonder if it was in Sri Lanka or some overseas country. Can the Philatelic Beureau explain

Ha ha this is amusing, WW is the king of fraudulent transactions in the entire country. First he screws the Voters, then immigration and the poor taxpayer (and) now the postal service !! Let's STAMP his forehead for the record as 'REJECT' in this elections.

I remember to have read somewhere that Postal Dept. allows you to print stamps of your choice on a prescribed payment. Am I correct ?

I'm not sure whether legally it is done through any payment to Govt. If so they should give recs as proof since there is a case now. Gosh this is elementary..... Stage Awesome....stage to be developed!
