Amãna Bank offers Relief Moratorium

Based on the direction of the Government and the guidelines of Central Bank of Sri Lanka towards supporting SMEs, other businesses and individuals, Amãna Bank has extended a helping hand to its customers in terms of a special relief moratorium to overcome the financial and economic challenges as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.  The Bank’s special relief moratorium is offered to both its business and individual customers where customers can apply through the Bank’s Website. Individual customers can apply for the moratorium by filling the web form on bit.ly/AmanaBankMoratorium while Business customers can apply via email covid19relief@amana.lk and speak to their branch manager or relationship manager.  All relief requests are required to reach the Bank on or before 30 April 2020.

Apart from the special relief moratorium, the Bank has also provided its Gold Certificate Financing customers a grace period to settle their facilities due for settlement, where such facility settlements have been extended up to 30 September 2020.  

In addition to the above, the Bank has extended support to its customers to continue their banking activities with minimal disruption which includes facilitating salary advances to regular salary crediting customers, enabling Internet Banking onboarding remotely, waving off charges on internet banking fund transfers to other banks as well as introducing a Bank on Wheels Mobile ATM to reach out to its customers at this time of need.

We believe in the unique approach of People Friendly Banking and will do our best to deliver the benefits of such approach to all Sri Lankans through our relief measures.”
