Power Solutions and Portugal’s Grupel sign MoU for Gensets

Power Solution South Asia (Pvt.) Ltd and Grupel of Portugal recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), where Grupel appointed Power Solutions South Asia (Pvt.) Ltd as the authorized dealer for its generator brand Grupel.
This was signed in Portugal by Power Solution South Asia (Pvt.) Ltd Managing Director Janaka Nandakumara and Marco Santos of Grupel, Portugal. Under this agreement, Power Solution South Asia (Pvt.) Ltd becomes the local sole authorized distributor for Grupel’s Gensets, Engine - Perkins and Alternator - Stamford (a product from Portugal). The press briefing of the above was held at The Grand Monarch, Thalawathugoda, recently.
Grupel is an Omnisantos group company (Portugal), engaged in the manufacturing and rental of power gen sets, with over 35 years of experience in the market. It is the market leader in diesel generators produced in Portugal (80 percent of the Portuguese market). It manufactures equipment with power ratings from eight to 3500 kVA. Its international presence extends to African, European and Latin American markets, with the presence in the Middle East and Asia expanding fast.
