Ports Authority denies strike reports

Sri Lanka Ports Authority yesterday dismissed reports of a strike carried out by the Employees of Hambantota Magampura Port.
“Sri Lanka Ports Authority denies any media report that states that employees at Hambantota Magampura Port are on strike,” a SLPA statement said. 
General Manager of Hambantota Magampura Port Norman Weerarathna said that all operations at the port were running efficiently.
