NKAR celebrates 35 years launching new experiences

It was way back in 1980, a youngster actively involved in music stepped onto his career journey by launching a car rental company from home which took wings as the present NKAR Travels & Tours (Pvt) Limited.
He is none other than the prominent figure in the Travel Industry Nilmin Nanayakkara.
NKAR celebrates today its 35th year of service to its clients, suppliers, service providers and stakeholders.
The focus with perseverance has evolved considerably over the last 03 decades in-line with the industry changes. Grown from 03 employees to over 100 today NKAR represents the interests of both the travel and tourism sectors.
As one of the pioneers in the tourism industry, they offer a variety of services that reflect the diversity within the country revealing the depth of the Sri Lankan experience, bringing in holiday makers, MICE groups and film producers from around the globe. “NKAR Film Eye” brand is the latest product which manages the logistics by sourcing additional artists, supply of equipment, assisting in art direction and offering film location services to foreign film productions.
NKAR takes pride in their representation with FCm Travel Solutions as FCm Sri Lanka. FCm is the flagship corporate travel business of the global iconic travel group Flight Centre Limited.
The Outbound Travel has moved into the concept of a Travel Management Company (TMC) managing the travel needs of Organisations delivering tangible results with better solutions and savings. The Outbound Holidays offers varied holiday products and services overseas and also serves as the PSA for MSC Cruises, NCL & Star Cruises which is well supported throughout the calendar year by the local holiday makers.
