Multilac trade booth at Canton Fair draws huge crowds

Multilac had the Sri Lankan flag flying high at the 118th China Canton Fair held from October 15th to 19th.

As the only Sri Lankan company Multilac takes pride in taking the initiative to promote their Sri Lankan products, at a trade fair of such magnitude.
Consequently Multilac, received tremendous response for their products at the fair.

Being the largest paint exporter in the country, the expansive product portfolio of the company was exhibited at the International Pavilion of the exhibition. With emphasis on Emulsion and Weather Guard paints, Multilac showcased its wide range of paint solutions which includes innovative, high quality and eco friendly products manufactured for the household, decorative, industrial, wood care, marine, and automotive segments.

The exhibition provided an opportunity for potential buyers to interact with the experts at Multilac Paints and gain comprehensive information about how they can be used. The Company showcased their strengths and capabilities to the international markets and their capacities as an international player in the global arena. The high quality standards of Multilac’s eco- friendly paints were greatly admired by global importers who visited the fair from the American, European, Middle Eastern and African regions. In particular, the fair paved the way for promising business prospects with new markets such as Oman, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Kenya expressing their interest in Multilac.

The Chairman of Multilac Milfer Makeen, along with CEO Shimmer Milfer Makeen, and Overseas Manager Jacob, were among the top management participating at the event and ensured that potential customers received thorough insight about Multilac products.

Commenting on the endeavor, Makeen said, “We have been participating at the Canton Fair for the past several years and I must say that it has become the best platform for Sri Lankan companies like us to accelerate our penetration in to other international markets. The Canton Fair is a biannual event held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn. Being one of the oldest trade fairs in China, the Canton Fair traces its history back to 1957.
