The Asian Chief Audit Executives Leadership Forum will be held for the first time in Colombo at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel today under the theme “Inspire to Lead”.
The forum will touch on areas such as the global perspective on future development of the IA profession, recent developments in governance, risk and control and the ever increasing demand and opportunities for the Internal Audit Profession.
Panel discussions will focus on strategic issues as well as opportunities for the next generation CAEs. Topics will cover effective board engagement, address increasing regulatory risks, audit risk culture and most importantly grooming to be ahead of the curve.
President of the Institute of Internal Auditors Sri Lanka (IIASL), Thivanka Jayasinghe said, “I am very proud to host for the first time in Sri Lanka the Asian Chief Audit Executives Leadership Forum.
In an environment where expectations of the internal audit profession are continuously increasing, it is imperative that such conferences are held to enhance the skill sets of the profession. This event also provides an excellent opportunity to network with others in the profession.”
