Alumex honoured at NBE Awards 2015

Alumex, a leading Sri Lankan manufacturer in aluminum profiles clinched several awards at the National Business Excellence Awards 2015 (NBEA), organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka.

Alumex claimed the overall Bronze Award while emerging as the winner in the categories, Large Category of Business, Manufacturing and Engineering Sector as well as the runner up in the Excellence in Business and Financial Results category.

At the NBEA 2014, the company won two awards namely, the first runner up position in the Manufacturing and Engineering category and the second runner up position in the Large Category of Business.

Commenting on the achievement, Managing Director of Alumex PLC, Rohan Peris said, “We are honoured to have been presented with these prestigious awards. This valuable recognition is an indication of our business excellence and our business integrity.”

The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view of recognizing the business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business while contributing to the economic progress of the country.
Having commenced in 2004 as NBEA 2004 the National Business Excellence Awards have recognized the top class business which excelled in their performance every year.
