This August holiday, Surf Excel’s ‘Raja Wada Paddo’, an initiative aimed at encouraging children to use their creativity by making their own toys with discarded items and Surf packs, kept children creatively engaged for the season.
Receiving an overwhelming 8,000 amazing entries from children all across the country, this contest has proven that when encouraged, there is no limit to a child’s creativity and imagination.
The winners – Kalana Banuka Dilshan (Kandy), Zaid Amar (Kirulapona) and Sithumlee Kollanawa, who stood out for their use of imagination in making the toys, received a thrilling trip to Universal Studios Singapore with the opportunity not only to enjoy each fun-filled ride but also experience travel around Singapore together with their parents as well.
“‘Raja Wada Poddo’ was just one initiative that Surf Excel endeavoured in the interest of furthering a creative Sri Lanka. While we continue to create programmes that will develop children’s creativity through play, moms can always draw confidence and assurance of Surf Excel’s power to remove even the toughest stains,” concluded Surf Excel Brand Manager Abitha Pathmanathan.
