Macktiles Lanka stamps quality with SLS and ISO 9001:2008 certification

Macktiles Lanka Pvt Ltd, a 100 percent local manufacturer of a wide range of commercial and household floor tiles, was awarded the International ISO and SLS Standards by SGS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and the Sri Lanka Standards Institution, respectively. These prestigious certifications were received by the Chairman of Macktiles, Milfer Makeen and the Managing Director of Macktiles, Mizver Makeen at the Macktiles Dealer Convention that took place among top dealers and distinguished invitees recently at Hilton, Colombo. 

The awarding ceremony was witnessed by the Macktiles distribution team who were rewarded with recognition trophies, an overnight stay at Hilton, Colombo and surprise gifts such as phone dongles, Tabs and Air tickets to Bangkok & Chennai for their contribution to Macktiles’ unprecedented growth within a very short period of time.   Remarking on this achievement, Milfer Makeen, Chairman of Macktiles said, “Being awarded the ISO and SLS certifications is one of the important milestones along the journey of Macktiles thus far. The award of SLS Standards certifies the high quality products produced by the home grown company which conforms to the high standards and parameters of the Sri Lanka standards awarding body. Similarly, the ISO certification recognizes Macktiles for its high quality management process undertaken in order to offer customers a wide array of products that serve as a platform of assurance of high standard quality products, and most importantly customer satisfaction.
