Lanka Property Web Aims To Replicate The Success Of Its Inaugural Event

Over 20 exhibitors are expected to participate at Sri Lanka’s largest property show, scheduled to be held on February 16th and 17th at the Kingsbury Hotel. 

LankaPropertyWeb.com, Sri Lanka’s leading property website, is gearing up for the Lanka Property Show 2018 to be held from 10am-8pm on the 16th and 17th of February at the Kingsbury Hotel’s Balmoral Hall. The event will be hosted for the 2nd consecutive year, following on from last year’s highly successful one. 

Speaking at the pre-launch event, Managing Director of Lanka Property Web Daham Gunaratna, said that following a highly successful Property Show last year, they aim to make this year’s event even larger and more successful with over 20 exhibitors participating at this year’s event. He further stated that this year, a wider spectrum of property developments and property related exhibitors will be participating at the event, with 3 leading banks also having their stalls. 

Visitors will be able to view properties from 10 million upwards, as well as lands from 85,000.00 LKR per perch. Furthermore, there will be a higher number of properties outside of Colombo featured here as well, whilst apartments can be reserved on the spot by paying Rs. 100K upwards. Quite notably, this year’s event will also offer property buyers free furniture worth 1 million, and free air tickets through participating developers.

In addition to the above benefits, some of the banks at the venue will be offering special discounted rates for anyone who takes out a loan during the show. Speaking further, Daham said that this would be the best opportunity for anyone looking to buy property to find great deals on sale prices, and also save on the 15% VAT that will be imposed on apartment sales from April 1st.  

This year’s event will also feature seminars and discussions about property investments, which was a big hit with the attendees at the last event.
