Huawei rewards Cricket Promo Draw winners

Huawei Cricket Promo Draw winners with their new Huawei GR3 2017 smartphones

Huawei, the leading smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, recently rewarded the winners of the Cricket Promo Raffle Draw. 

The Cricket Promo Raffle Draw was initiated to mark Huawei’s successful partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket and was aimed at customers who have purchased Huawei GR3 2017, GR5 2017 or GR5 2017 smartphones between the promotion period of July 17 to September 9, 2017. 

Seven customers emerged as the winners of the promo and a gift handing ceremony from Huawei was held to reward these winners. 

Each of the six promo winners received a Huawei GR3 2017 smartphone. The winners were P.A. Perera, Nadeeshan, Kalhara Niwanthaka, Tharaka Akshitha, Nuwan Dhanushka and Milan Somisena.

The customers were encouraged to purchase any of the aforesaid smartphones from an authorized dealer from any part of the country and to acquire a valid warranty card with their purchase. To enter the promo draw, applicants were asked to send a picture of the warranty card and send it via Viber or WhatsApp along with the smartphone’s IMEI number. 

The winners were selected on a weekly basis and their names were announced on Huawei’s Facebook page. 

The winners were also notified of their win through a phone call from Huawei. They were then directed to visit their nearest Huawei Experience Store or Service Centre and collect their prize. 

Speaking with regards to the promotion, Huawei Device Sri Lanka Marketing Manager Ruwan Gamage said, “We are delighted to have initiated this endeavour by rewarding loyal customers and recognizing their interest shown towards Huawei. Ever since we launched the promotion, our customers have shown great enthusiasm indicating how much people enjoyed this type of promotion. Huawei will continue to initiate activities of this type and engage with our customers by recognizing their loyalty and interest that they show towards our brand.”

The list of prizes that has been dedicated for this promotion does not end there. The other prizes also included Sri Lanka Cricket fan T-shirts, cricket match tickets, Huawei GR3 2017 and GR5 2017 Premium smartphones, cricket bats signed by Sri Lankan cricketers, Huawei backpacks and power banks.
