GroupM Sri Lanka ended the first quarter of the year on a festive, goodie laden note at Barracuda Beach with a day of Avurudu games and celebrations. Dressed in their finest traditional garb, Club MPower members made the beachfront of Barracuda their playground for the evening. Five teams engaged in traditional Avurudu celebrations, competing in games such as Kottapora, Kambaadeema and Gonipaneema.
Two members from each team also took part in AvuruduKumariya and Kumaraya contests. “Club MPower is about bringing our team members together and creating experiences for them,” said Chief Operating Officer Sabry Haniz. “Almost everyone attended the Avurudu celebrations this time around. It’s been a very busy but fulfilling three months, so this was a good way for all of us to unwind and celebrate the spirit of the season together.”
