First Capital Treasuries to raise Rs.750mn via listed debt

Primary dealer, First Capital Treasuries PLC, is to raise Rs.750 million via a listed debenture issue.

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has approved in principle an application for listing of the debt securities of the company.

Accordingly, First Capital Treasuries expects to issue 7.5 million listed, rated, subordinated, unsecured, redeemable debentures at a par value of Rs.100 each.

The subscription list of the debt issue officially opens on January 27.

Joint Managers to the issue are First Capital Limited and People’s Bank investment Banking Unit.

SSP Corporate Services (Pvt.) Ltd. acts as the registrars to the issue.

First Capital Treasuries raised Rs.500 million through a 5-year listed debt in February 2015.
