Worker injured in factory mishap

One person was injured and one was trapped after a storage tank collapsed in a dhal packing factory in Pattiwala, Kelaniya last night, the Police said.

The victim, Harshaka Thikaratne (24) was a resident in Monaragala area.

Rescue operations are undergoing to save the trapped person.

Meanwhile, the Police said that the injured person had been admitted to the National Hospital for further treatment. (Piyumi Fonseka)
