National Freedom Front (NFF) Leader MP Wimal Weerawansa arrived at the Negombo Magistrate’s Court this morning over the issue concerning his passport.

He was arrested by the CID on Friday at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)over an issue regarding his passport and produced in the Negombo Magistrate’s Court.

The Magistrate released MP Weerawansa on Rs. 10,000 cash bail and two sureties of one million rupees each.

If I am not mistaken, this joker got the second highest number of preferential votes in Colombo at the recent General Election. I thought Colombo was the most educated electorate. Obviously not, if the voters keep on electing such trash to represent them and the country.

A law maker, referred to as "Honourable" but in actual fact an alleged Law Breaker both he and his wife !!!! What an example of an honourable Member of Parliament !!!!
