Wife of UPFA councilor alleges assault

A UPFA member of Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte Municipal Council has allegedly assaulted his wife while she was working in Nugegoda Samurdhi Bank and damaged the properties in the bank, police said.

The assaulted wife had been admitted to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital.

The wife had lodged a complaint in the Welikada Police earlier stating the accused was harassing her. However they had come to a settlement in the Colombo High Court.

    UPFA No issue If UNP Top lawyers will appear on behalf of the other party even though he can't afford.
