A water cut will take effect in parts of Colombo from 12 noon today to 12 noon tomorrow owing to a damaged water pipe connected to the Ambatale water distribution line, the national water supply and drainage board said.
The affected areas include Grandpass, Mattakuliya and Kotahena, a spokesman at the national water supply and drainage board told Daily Mirror online.
He said that repair work on the damaged pipe is already underway.
