Water cut extended till 10pm

The water cut which was in effect in Pannipitiya and nearby areas due to the breakdown of the water pipeline from Kalatuwawa to Dehiwala in Maharagama, will continue until 10pm today, the National Water Supply & Drainage Board told Daily Mirror online

Yesterday it was announced that the public will face 20 hour water cut from 9pm Friday till 5pm today. The 5pm deadline has been increased till 10pm tonight due to unavoidable circumstances.

According to the Board the following areas will be affected by the water cut, Pannipitiya, Rukmalgama, Maththegoda, Pelenwatta, Kesbewa and all by roads from Piliyandala to Boralesgamuwa. (Daily Mirror online)
