Around fifty tea pluckers in Lunugala came under a wasp attack today after a wasp nest was dislodged by eagles in the area.
Previously a series of wasp attacks were reported from Sigiriya where preventive measures have now been taken to protect its visitors.

Wonder where the wasps were when the President visited Sigiriya. Were they all under a security blanket just like the ordinary public when the VIPs race along the roads.

Why is this even news. This is not such an unusual occurrence
this happens all the time if a nest is disturbed.
