Deputy Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Berlin, Major General Jagath Dias said the war could have been finished earlier but due to external and internal pressures, it could not be achieved till 2009.

Former General Officer Commanding of the 57th Division of the Sri Lanka Army Major General addressing a gathering during his visit to the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Paris on July 22 said that the strong leadership and commitment of the President enabled the country to put an end to what is known as one of the longest wars against terrorism.

Pointing out that the situation had changed over the last few years he noted that Sri Lanka had overcome many challenges, both locally and internationally, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Paris said in a statement.

Where were you during the war. These type of comments should have been made by General Sarath Fonseka ONLY. Shut up and start developing the country.

Ok. There was international pressure, but who was behind the master plan? It is the person who saw the war for 40 years (SF).. No one else..... Like this if u agree. If you disagree reply saying why, without just disliking this...
