VIP vehicle injures two students

Two students of Dharmapala Vidyalaya, Pannipitiya were injured following an accident involved in a back-up vehicle of a Ministerial convoy at Moraketiya Junction in Pannipitiya today, police said.

The injured students were admitted to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital and Sri Jayewardenapura Hospital, they said. The driver of the defender jeep was arrested.

There will be an inquiry....outcome will be the students shouldnt be there at the time of the accident they were suppose to be in school. a warning will be given to the student for being in the wrong place at the wrong time...the driver will be released without charges so he can run over few more citizens in banana island!!!!

This is the miracle of Asia where the students run towards the wayward vehicle at high speed, to cause hurt to themselves. Ofcourse this is not the first it is one of countless where some have even killed themselves. We must be grateful for the number of Ministers and Deputies and their escorts that provide us with oportunities to hurt ourselves or even kill ourselves.
