UPFA sweeps Kurunegala

The ruling UPFA has won the General Elections in the Kurunegala District by obtaining 429,316 votes and securing 10 seats while the UNP has obtained 213,713 votes and secured 5 seats. The Democratic National Alliance secured 26, 440 votes and did not obtain any seats.
