UNP vows to continue protests

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasighe said the UNP will protest until the formation of a UNP government defeating the Rajapaksa regime.
He made these comments a short while ago during a protest urging the government to release Sarath Fonseka, also urging them to bring down the price of commodities.

The protesters commenced the march from the Campbell Park and are now in front of the main gates of the Welikada prison complex.
