UNP Member of Parliament Dayasiri Jayasekara, speaking to reporters in Colombo this morning, said that the party needs an ‘Obama’ style change and should not totally rely on neo-liberal policies. (KB)

It was Obama who put the breaks ON on the economic slide which was started when the Bush was in power. Now things are changing and the US dollar too strengthening.

What Sri Lanka too need is a young and educated leader to lead Sri Lanka to prosperity. We have had 60 bad years after independence. Time for Sri Lanka citizens to wake and start thinking intelligently before it is too last.

After struggling through Royal colleage,Sajith bearly managed at LSE in London,thanks to Papa being President.It is sad why we Sri Lankans falls head over heals on this dynastics political families and the brats, who never had brians.Remember leader is as good as all the subjects.Are we that unfortunate!!!

That's clearly been working for us. A Sri Lankan style is what has been bogging this country down since independence. We've gone from hero to zero in the Asian region. Only our cricket team has some respect...even that lacks true consistency and freedom from political bias.

Sajith should be made leader only by virtue of him being the son of an ex-president? I dont see any other qualification that he possesses.
